Stefanie Hering Designs Stunning Lighting Capsules for Studio M

— April 5, 2026 — Art & Design
The porcelain brand Hering Berlin, founded by master ceramist Stefanie Hering, has designed multiple stunning lighting collections for Studio M, a brand under the American Maxim Lighting Group. The exquisite designs include the Tropo, the Burgeon, the Ray Dance, and the Stream families, all of which use porcelain as a light-conducting material.

The Tropo family features tubular shapes with curved triangular bases in two sizes. This stunning lighting design is available as table lamps and wall mounts. The translucent bisque porcelain emits a warm glow, and a light module offers three different settings that combine spatial and directed illumination. The Burgeon family, on the other hand, takes inspiration from classic porcelain figurines with bud-shaped designs crafted from delicate bisque porcelain. The Ray Dance family uses mouth-blown glass bodies in olive, sphere, and lantern shapes with faceted shades in Clear, Smoky Gray, and Rosé. The Stream system features bisque porcelain shades that can suspend up to twelve pendants vertically on a single cable
