As much as visual charts help to bring groups of data to life, they typically take the form of 2D graphics that cannot be interacted with through a screen—but Coming Soon created a playful set of 3D infographics for Ablynx's annual report.
The set of 3D infographics includes standing bar chart rectangles and pie chart slices that have been rendered in bold colors and fun patterns. These tangible graph pieces were then arranged and photographed to form the dynamic images for the pages of Ablynx's printed report.
Coming Soon is a creative studio based out of Belgium that is known for creating a variety of handcrafted projects and later digitizing them to offer a unique quality to images that are typically only seen in physical or computerized forms.
