From Spicy Peanut Butter Desserts to Pooch Peanut Butter

 - Jan 31, 2014
In honor of National Peanut Butter Day, every year on January 24th, it’s peanut butter jelly time. Peanut butter is one of those unusual condiments that people either love, or love to hate -- or are simply allergic. However, for the die-hard peanut butter lovers out there, it just happens that it's one of the greatest ingredients for DIY dessert recipes. The most popular ways of eating peanut butter still remain spreading it on toast in the morning or just dipping apples and bananas into a freshly opened jar.

The smooth or crunchy condiment is often paired with jam for the oh-so-famous PB and J sandwich. There are many possibilities for peanut butter. From adding the flavor to delectable drinks, to candy M&M and peanut butter cookies and brownies, to teasing your dog with pooch peanut butter. A recently popular use for peanut butter has been filling cookies and cakes with the good stuff.

So whether you love peanut butter or love to hate it, these peanut butter innovations are surprisingly awesome.
