Ranging from compact work-from-home printers to at-home play gyms, the October 2020 home trends list showcase what consumers are looking for as it relates to their home. As seen in the aforementioned examples, consumers are continuing to adjust to the work-from-home lifestyle prompted by the pandemic. This has prompted brands to respond by providing new concepts that help consumers adapt to their new environment, whether that be at-home work or play.
On the other side of the spectrum, the October 2020 home trends also showcase brands trying to imagine a future after the pandemic. Specifically, Highsnobiety, who recently unveiled a new editorial that explores life post-pandemic. Titled 'Home Essentials: Imagining the Post-Pandemic Interior,' and according to the creators, "COVID-19 has accelerated the next urban transformation, bringing new strange things into our abodes that didn't use to be there, and inventing things that didn't exist at all."
