Walking down the grocery store aisle in search of health foods has never been so visually engaging. From typographic vegetable packaging to minimalist juice bottles, packaging companies are attracting consumers with a focus on aesthetics. In the grand scheme of things, packaging is a significant aspect of marketing; which is why companies pay special attention to labels and stickers to adapting to the changing taste of millennial shoppers.
Illustrations on packaging are looking more playful and endearing; one milk bottle label showcases colorfully spotted cows on icebergs. This was an attempt to make healthy foods more appealing to children. Designer Elena Sancho of Spanish packaging company Muyum adorned not only milk jugs, but also boxes, labels and containers for fresh produce and dairy products with colorful illustrations.
