Love and marriage — they go together like a horse and carriage, and the April 2017 romance trends show that marriage indeed remains a way to bridle love for life, just like a wild stallion tamed and pulling a cart. Though much has been made of the changes in modern romance, with apps and online exchanges becoming the latter day version of Victorian courtship, the traditional institution of marriage seems primed to dominate in the month of April (fittingly so, considering the fecund metaphorical promise of a new spring.)
Though marriage is among the most deeply traditional institutions still regularly practiced by younger generations, even wedding icons aren't immune to modernization. Vrai & Oro, a jewelry company, has recently opened its Vrai & Oro Weddings line (shortened to the cleverly acronymic VOW) with a series of rings made from lab-grown diamonds.
