After her boyfriend proposed to her using a DIY bath bomb that contained an engagement ring, Tessa Medlock decided to create a business based on that very idea and designed 'Pearl Bath Bombs.'
The bath bombs are based in the same idea that her boyfriend came up with when he proposed to her. The beauty product is put in water and functions as a regular bath bomb, dissolving quickly and coloring the water that surrounds it. However, once the Pearl Bath Bomb is completely dissolved, it reveals a small plastic container that holds an engagement ring. The rings themselves are sterling silver, rose gold or gold-plated, and can be used to propose with and then replaced with a more luxurious ring later on.
The idea behind the Pearl Bath Bomb is one that is highly niche, but its creativity makes for a product that captures consumer attention.
