From Ice Wine-Infused Truffles to Boozy Bourbon Sandwiches

These alcohol-paired foods demonstrate that there's a wide range of creative products currently available that show a desire among consumers to experience the flavors that different alcohols offer, without the strong effects that are often associated with them.
One recipe that's included comes from chef and author Jessica Merchant, who infused miniature pretzels with notes of vanilla and bourbon. To create the revitalized party snack, Merchant added butter, bourbon, brown sugar, vanilla bean paste, paprika, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes to a bag of premade pretzels.
Also featured are the lager sausages from Smithfield Foods and Yuengling & Son Inc. The two brands joined to add the taste of a light lager to bratwurst sausages, making for the perfect snack or meal to pair with a craft beer.
