Popular confectioner Buttermilk recently teamed up with spirits producer Southwestern Distillery to create two new types of gin-flavored fudge. Fudge is a decadent dessert that is particularly enjoyed by children. Now there is an adult version of the popular treat that packs a boozy punch.
The new alcohol-infused fudge desserts come in two distinct varieties: gin and pastis. The gin-flavored fudge has distinct notes of juniper and orange coriander, while the pastis variety has sweet aniseed flavors. Both are created in small batches using traditional fudge-making techniques and high-quality ingredients such as whole milk, natural vanilla extract and Tarquin’s spirits.
Available as part of Buttermilk's limited-edition Snacking Selection, the new fudge flavors are perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or passing off as a delicious wedding favor.
