The Gwenael Nicolas 'Sparks' Light is Swarovski Crystal Fabulous

— May 13, 2010 — Art & Design
The Gwenael Nicolas 'Sparks' light installation is a 10-meter long string of Swarovski crystals that are programmed to set off "sparks" that leap across a room, becoming "as weightless as air."

The installation is pretty remarkable and looks as though there is a string of sparklers attached from one end of the room to another. The idea was to free crystals from the laws of gravity, allowing them to become weightless in a room. The Gwenael Nicolas 'Sparks' light installation is pretty cool, especially in the dark!
