Multifaceted Glass Crystal Fixtures

These Traditional Crystal Light Fixtures are Handcrafted

Bomma, a glassmaking company specializing in the traditional Czechoslovakian craft of glassmaking, produced crystal light fixtures by hand. The multifaceted fixtures take cues from traditions that date back centuries in the East Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.

The company used a combination of modern technologies and bespoke machinery with master artisans to deliver history-rooted fixtures. Dubbed the Constellations project, the collection features five different glass crystal lights inspired by irregular shapes of the natural world. The collection was designed by Dechem Studio, studio deFORM, and ruckl.

Bomma also offers another collection called the Pyrite collection, inspired by the mineral of its namesake. "By blowing a molten organic substance into a precise cold form, the skilled hands of our glassmakers create a unique light fixture of [an] elemental, yet perfect shape."
