British lighting firm Curiousa designs the Wave II collection, which is comprised of progressive lights that blend careful glass craftsmanship together with a plethora of colors and shapes. The firm is known for its eclectic blown-glass structures as it celebrates traditional techniques of glass blowing through a blowpipe to form captivating shapes.
The Wave II series elevates this concept by integrating candy-colored glass along cords -- this creates a look that is reminiscent of beads on a string. Some of these parts are sandblasted which results in a slightly opaque finish to create a soft glow. The textural details continue with the most notable aspect in the form of the wooden and silk elements integrated into the glass for a textural finish.
