Sour Glass Encourages Thoughtful Drinking Experiences

At the top trade show for creative packaging, Luxe Pack Monaco, London-based brand design agency Lewis Moberly debuted a beer design concept called Sour Glass from the fictional Fitzwood Brewery. Created in collaboration with the international Make a Mark initiative, this craft beer concept aims to inspire adults to invite more thoughtfulness and appreciation into their drinking experiences.

Through a different kind of packaging design, Sour Glass creates a ritual around drinking beer. Sour Glass is meant to be sipped and savored from start to finish so that its unique flavors and aromatics can be experienced to the fullest. Reminiscent of an hourglass, the secondary bottle structure can be used to turn the bottle upside-down for pouring and measuring just the right amount of liquid.
