Tropical Space Designs the Premier Office in Vietnam

Local design studio Tropical Space creates the Premier Office located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The building is defined by the shell of perforated brickwork details and plants that climb along the concrete building. It is found in the commercial Tan Binh district and the gridded detail is meant to allow the occupants to have a plethora of spatial conditions. The facades have a blend of walls -- some of which are flat and others are angled at 45 degrees along with areas for plants, open balconies, and steel wire.

Tropical Space explains that "With the perforated brick shell, the rotated wall, and the gaps, the Premier Office does not have the feeling of invading the urban space. [We] aspired to create a building that can maximize the performance of natural lighting without being affected by the negative impact of direct sunlight."
