20 Game Controller Designs

Controller designs have always had an impact on the user experience of a game system. Companies are continuing to alter controller designs in order to improve the way a consumer interacts with their gaming system. One of the noteworthy innovative designs comes from 8BitDo, which created a controller that is fully customizable. This means that users are able to decide their own button layout.

Another important controller was designed by Daniel Cheung, and it is titled the 'Playdream' controller. The Playdream controller has a Google button, which allows the user to operate the Google Assistant whenever needed.

Lastly the 'HORI Split Pad Controller' is a peripheral device for the Nintendo Switch, where users attach the device to a Nintendo Switch for a more ergonomic design.
