The newest make form 8BitDo is a fully customizable controller where users can set their own button configuration, as well as adjust sensitivity levels for the joysticks, triggers, and vibration function. The controller is titled the SN30 Pro+. Custom features are made possible using 8BitDo's Ultimate Software, where users are able to create macros for the controller. Using a custom profile, users are able to have settings for individual games saved separately.
8BitDo's fully customizable controller works across a number of different gaming platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PC, macOs, as well as Android. The battery of the SN30 Pro+ controller can have a maximum use time of 20 hours on one charge.
The controller is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for a $50 price point. Models will begin shipping on August 7th.
