Arcade-Style Console Docks

iMP Gaming's Mini Arcade Pro Crates a Nostalgic Experience

The Mini Arcade PRO from iMP Gaming is an accessory designed to convert a Nintendo Switch 1, Switch 2, or OLED into a tabletop arcade cabinet. Revealed at Gamescom 2025, the device is set to ship in time for the 2025 holiday season. It features a durable ABS construction that houses the console’s screen, connecting via a high-speed USB-C interface. A detachable screen adapter accommodates both Switch generations, and the unit is marketed as an affordable way to recreate the feel of gaming’s golden era using players’ own hardware.

Control is delivered through an authentic ball-top joystick with micro-switched, steel-shaft engineering and an eight-button layout that includes turbo +/- action buttons as well as dedicated Home and C buttons. An integrated switch lets users toggle the joystick’s input between D-Pad, left thumbstick, or right thumbstick modes, ensuring broad compatibility across the Switch library. Additional features include rear storage for up to 12 game cards or SD cards, a non-slip base, and custom retro arcade artwork, combining practical functionality with nostalgic styling.
