The Hyperkin x GameSir X5 Alteron mobile gaming controller has been shown off at CES 2026 as a modular accessory for gamers to incorporate into their equipment setup.
The device is engineered with both modern era gaming in mind, but also retro titles to work well with a variety of titles thanks to its modular construction. The controller thus features a telescoping design to work with the Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, Android and Apple smartphones, and even the Apple iPad. Gamers can swap out the controls on the peripheral for different modules to accommodate any kind of mobile game.
The Hyperkin x GameSir X5 Alteron mobile gaming controller will connect to devices over Bluetooth 5.2 and also supports USB-C charging.
