While the house of Chanel continues to awe wealthy women with fabulous clothing, Lagerfeld has also expanded the brand into sporting goods. Bicycles, tennis equipment, skis and fishing poles have all fallen under the influence of fashion’s Great One. Steiff, the German stuffed toy manufacturer, has even designed a $1,500 teddy bear in Lagerfeld’s likeness.

Lagerfeld also gained fame for losing an astonishing 92 pounds in 13 months, resulting in a published book called "The Lagerfeld Diet."
