Bicycles, tennis equipment, skis and fishing poles have all fallen under the influence of fashion’s Great One. Steiff, the German stuffed toy manufacturer, has even designed a $1,500 teddy bear in Lagerfeld’s likeness.
Lagerfeld also gained fame for losing an astonishing 92 pounds in 13 months, resulting in a published book called "The Lagerfeld Diet."
For a man of his age, he oozes cool, posing in a fall issue of Harper’s Bazaar as a hardcore rapper declaring, "Believe it or not, I love rap."
