King Charles III Teddy Bear Launches as an Adult-Only Commemorative Item

The King Charles III Teddy Bear is a finely crafted, limited-edition collectible made from silver-toned mohair plush and soft cotton velvet. Designed by Merrythought and sold through the Highgrove Shop at the King’s estate, the bear is strictly intended for adult collectors.

It is priced at £269, and it reflects thoughtful design with features like deep blue eyes, a hand-stitched smile, and a gold-embroidered royal cypher on the left paw. It wears an authentic Royal Victorian Order sash with Italian gold tassels and bears an enamel and gold-plated Order of the Garter star.

Only 1,948 units are being produced—a reference to the King's birth year—and each comes in a luxury gift box with a numbered certificate of authenticity. A more modest version, the "King’s Birthday Edition Bear," is also available for £150, limited to 500 pieces.
