Top 100 Luxury Trends for 2022

From Subscription-Only Restaurants to Million-Dollar Camper Trucks:

The 2022 luxury trends will continue to be influenced by a small but diverse range of quality-conscious brands seeking new ways to appeal to niche groups of wealthy consumers. As a result, decadence, exclusivity, and heightened personalization will remain key concepts shaping the luxury industry in 2022.

Unfortunately, 2021 was marked by global air travel bans due to COVID-19, which led to many consumers pursuing alternative travel options. In the luxury space, this seemed to result in an unexpected deluge of newly released superyachts. For example, the world's biggest yacht, the Somino Yacht Liner, took to the seas last year, giving an exclusive group of consumers purchase access to its 39 onboard luxury apartments. Meanwhile, SuperYachtsMonaco launched the Project Sunrise, a 442-foot yacht modeled after an island resort.

Elsewhere, luxury retailers quickly embraced the booming virtual world, with many announcing branded NFTs, metaverse developments, and even digital-only clothing lines. For example, Burberry partnered with Blankos Block Party to launch its first in-game NFT accessory that can be worn by Blankos avatars.
