This collection of artist-designed packaging shows just how refreshing it is to see traditional branding spun on its head. While some companies have decided to incorporate such artistic input on a more permanent basis, others have decided to release special editions of their product to inspire people, especially avid fans, to collect them. Artist-designed packaging is a great way to inspire commitment and loyalty in a way that is rewarding to both parties.

In one case, Perrier released a set of bottles that boast the famous work of Andy Warhol. Another example of artist-designed packaging involves a collaboration between B&O PLAY x Pepsi for a headphone line. They tapped six street artists from around the world to design the packaging for these limited edition headphones. Artist-designed packaging often goes hand-in-hand with special opportunities.
