Zoom Extends Its 40-minute Limit for Thanksgiving

In light of the ongoing pandemic, Thanksgiving may look different than previous years, and to help families safely connect this holiday season (from a distance), Zoom is removing its 40-minute limit for Thanksgiving day. Zoom will lift the restriction from 12 AM ET on November 26 to 6 AM ET on November 27.

The video conferencing platform announced the new changes over social media, stating: "As a thank you to our customers, we will be lifting the 40-minute limit for all meetings globally from midnight ET on Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. ET on Nov. 27 so your family gatherings don't get cut short. ❤️
