Yuri Suzuki's latest project is a robotic system that translates colors into sounds. Titled 'Looks Like Music', the project was curated by Suzuki for the Publics Department at Mudam.

Inspired by his Color Chaser project, this interactive installation allows users to draw on a giant sheet of paper and later hear the sound that is associated with their illustration. Every person's sound composition is different and is based on the color sequence that they end up choosing.

Because many associate certain feelings with certain colors, this interactive installation was a favorite among visitors who were intrigued to find out the sounds color would make. Yuri Suzuki's project features mini robots that travel over colored strokes while making different sounds. When combined, these sounds create a musical tune.
