Japanese sound artist and designer Yuri Suzuki created Arborhythm, which is an outdoor art installation that is located in San Francisco. The sound project was tapped simultaneously with the Art of Noise exhibition -- this is a multi-sensory celebration of how design has contributed to music consumption over the century. It is at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Arborhythm is also positioned right at the entrance with a bright and colorful palette.
Suzuki speaks to Dezeen about the concept, stating "The sculpture's form, inspired by trees, symbolises a welcoming presence, while its colours draw from local objects, landmarks, and natural surroundings, further anchoring it in the context of the city. I am particularly proud of the inclusive nature of the piece. It is designed to be accessible to all visitors, fostering a sense of community."
