Winerytale is a next-generation smartphone app that lets consumers scan wine labels to reveal the stories behind their favorite wine products. Although there's a limited amount of information that can be included on a wine bottle label, Winerytale lets wine brands go above and beyond images or small blocks of text.
As Dave Chaffey, Managing Director of Winerytale, says, "It's a very different concept to other wine Apps, which tend to focus on delivering detailed wine information and wine ratings. It's about delivering an experience, straight from the label, that gives consumers genuine insight into the people, place, and processes that go into every wine."
In 2021, the new concept is lanching with more than 100 wine brands, sharing a fun way for wine lovers to engage with the products that they consume. The interactive experience boasts virtual buttons, 360-degree animated displays and content that can be gamified and updated in real-time by producers.
