Nike Air Maxes Get Customized as Wii Balance Boards

Nike recently challenged 78 artists to attack a pair of its shoes and come up with something that is not just a normal pair of shoes. The result? A pair of Nike Air Maxes that have been transformed into Nintendo Wii balance board shoes. Artist Nick Marsh infused the internals of a Wii balance board into a pair of shoes for his entry.

His Wii balance board shoes work exactly as the traditional board works, but you must lift your foot or sit down to relieve pressure since there is no board to get off of.
