Sam Lane has deconstructed the Wigan Little Theatre logo design in order to build a new one. By taking the original design and rearranging each piece in a distinct manner, Lane managed to create a whole new logo using the already existing sections of the brand image.
Since the theatre is over 50 years old, Lane didn't want to make a drastic change. Doing so would have made the branding unrecognizable, which is never a good thing when trying to stay true to the company image. This is why he decided to use the existing pieces of the logo and rearrange them in a different way. Thus, a new logo was created while still maintaining the personality of the Wigan Little Theatre brand.
