Suntory's Hibiki Whiskey Glass Enhances the Drinking Experience

The Hibiki whiskey glass by Suntory makes the drinking experience more lively with sights and sounds at the Harmony Bar. The drinking glass is loaded with sensor technology, so that the way a drinker touches, swirls their whiskey or drinks out of the glass produces different audio and visual effects, which are displayed behind the bar.

The Suntory experience revolves around the theme of the four seasons, where patrons are able to create the look and sound of snow, raindrops and wind using only their glasses. Part of the charm of the entire experience is that there's not a lot that looks very high-tech at the bar, because the technology is so beautifully blended with elements from traditional Japanese culture.
