Portugal-based photographer Zé Pedro Henriques shot a wanderlust editorial series for C-Heads. The destination? Nowhere in particular.
Henriques explains his process by saying, “To me[,] photography should be like relaxing therapy, a walk in the woods, an empty beach, a breathtaking height, an interesting conversation, a beautiful girl, good music shared with friends on the dance floor or a drive with no destination. So I end up combining all of that in my photos.”
After moving in with three friends, Henriques was inundated with a slew of new friends. He began photographing their random expeditions, attempting to capture the ambiance and mood of each place they visited. The memory is captured, but its subject to the imagination of the viewer, adding another level of dynamism.
