Audi's Virtual Reality Driving Experience Puts Kids in the Driver's Seat

'Sandbox' is the name of a new virtual reality driving experience from Audi that pairs a real-world installation with an immersive virtual playground.

The VR experience for kids of all ages challenges participants to carve their own lines into the sand, which will involve navigating hills, curves and jumps with precision using the new Audi Q5.

In order to make the virtual reality driving simulation accessible to everyone, Audi also created a 360-degree film that is based on a run that one would experience in the Audi Sandbox. The video is shared to Audi Norway's YouTube account and can be experienced with or without a virtual reality headset. For those interested in full immersion, Audi dealers are also providing this experience.
