Sour ales have become one of the fastest-growing styles of craft beer as adventurous drinkers look to explore new and exciting flavors. Leveraging this trend, award-winning breweries Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and Brouwerij RODENBACH joined forces to debut the 'Vibrant P’Ocean,' a 4.7% ABV blended sour ale.
The Vibrant P'Ocean sour ale is a ruby-colored beer with notes of tart, dry berry and floral lemon flavors. In the true spirit of collaboration, the ale combines two unique base beers -- one crafted by ROBENBACH, the other by Dogfish Head. The RODENBACH"s portion was foeder-aged from standing oak cask for two years while the Dogfish Head's portion features a kettle sour brewed with elderberry, elderflower, sliced lemons, pilsner malt, malted wheat, and Belgian fleur-de-sel.
Vibrant P’Ocean will be available nationwide in 6-packs with 12-ounce cans with a limited release in Belgium.
