Globally Local Opened Its Doors in Toronto This Past Weekend

Toronto-based fans of comfort food and plant-based meals can now rejoice thanks to the launch of a new vegan fast food restaurant called Globally Local. The plant-based quick-serve restaurant first opened its door in London, Ontario -- a city considered to be the testing grounds of Canada -- and is renowned for being the first 24-hour vegan drive-through in North America.

Its official launch at 492 College St, Toronto saw hundreds of customers eager to try out its plant-based menu which includes plant-based burgers, wings, wraps and more. To help kick-off the grand opening, Globally Local worked with vegan influencer 'The Edgy Veg.' The influencer praised the fast-food chain for its authentic burger taste that's equal parts hearty and delicious.
