In addition to being a source of cultured dairy-free cheese, Miyoko's Creamery is set to become a go-to for vegan butter. The brand recently introduced of a new butter substitute that's made without dairy or palm oil ingredients. Instead, this 'European-Style Cultured VeganButter' is prepared from a base of organic cashews and coconut oil.

In addition to original flavors, the brand also offers Cheesy Garlic VeganButter, which is prepared with a few additional herbs for added taste.

The demand for products like theses are representative of a call for more plant-based alternatives for milk, cheese and other dairy products. Other than vegans, a growing population of health-conscious consumers are also becoming wary of inflammation and other repercussions that come along with eating dairy.
