25 Verde is an amazing five-storey apartment building located in Turin, Italy, that boasts an eco-friendly facade resembling an urban treehouse.

The eye-catching apartment building is built with an exterior vertical forest made of 150 trees that absorb 200,000 liters of carbon dioxide an hour. The intricate trees and oversized plant pots that make up the facade also serve as a means to block sun rays in the warmer months, while letting in warm light during the winter months.

Designed by Luciano Pia, 25 Verde is a remarkable residential building that combines the whimsical aspects of life in an urban treehouse, while also boasting environmental benefits. 25 Verde contains 63 units and exudes tranquility due to the facade's noise-cancelling qualities.
