As part of a student project, Flora Cruells Benzal was put to the task of making a unique survival kit based around a particular theme. Unsurprisingly, the design of her 'Hypochondriac Survival Kit' is fittingly extensive, featuring a bad that's filled to the brim with equipment for any kind of emergency or non-emergency.
The kit has a 1800's feel to it, taking inspiration from people who would try to peddle snake oil, claiming that these false products would provide a cure-all. As such, each item in the kit features playful branding that pokes fun at possible ailments. The Hypochondriac Survival Kit includes practical things like cotton balls, tissues and vitamins, as well as some more outrageous things like loofahs and hammers—but who knows, these things could turn out to be life-saving.
