A new partnership between Uber and Zomato will see the launch of a new app fusing the two concierge service platforms into one. The unique partnership has thus launched in London and South Africa, but there are plans to expand this to a total of 27 cities in 13 countries over the next few months.
The initial product out of the Uber and Zomato partnership is the integration of an Uber button in the Zomato app. The innovative app will help hungry diners hail private cabs to the restaurant of their choice, creating a seamless service that will serve to increase business for all parties involved.
Zomato is an Indian startup that recently acquired a mobile payments platform based in Delhi.
