Zomato is Launching a New Feature that Lets Customers Tip Kitchen Staff

Zomato's new feature, 'Tips for the Kitchen Staff,' is designed to provide restaurant-goers with the ability to compensate kitchen staff directly. Individuals can tip kitchen personnel by either allocating a gratuity corresponding to a percentage of their total order cost or stipulating a specific sum of their choosing. Establishments that want to participate in this program are required to formalize their commitment by signing a pledge, thereby ensuring the disbursement of gratuities to their kitchen staff.

Zomato customers will be given the option to rate the restaurant based on food and service with four or five stars. Restaurant partners will be able to track their weekly payouts through the Zomato dashboard.
