Beginning with a product name with such rich visual imagery, designer Spencer Bigum had a little fun with the creation of Turtle Wax packaging. The line of car care solutions was given a fresh face, using the iconic motif of a reptile's back.
Taking full advantage of the tortoise theme and the trademark color green, the creative shaped these three bottles into elongated geometric interpretations of turtle shells. Together, the liquid polish, cleaner and swirl paste embody nearly identical forms with colorful accented labels that designate the different mixtures.
The goal of the new identity was to spark new interest in this range of effective auto maintenance products. Turtle Wax packaging excels in the way that it impresses like a high-end brand, but remains a more affordable choice.
