Turtle Beach is launching two new ‘Atom’ and ‘Cloud’ controllers, which mimic the layout and appearance of an Xbox controller but double for mobile use. The tech and esports brand has designed its newest offerings to be compatible with the Android system as mobile gaming sees a steady growth in popularity. Mobile gaming is highly convenient, allowing users to play wherever they happen to be in their daily life, whether that’s the gym or the office.
The ‘Atom’ allows users to place their mobile device inside of the controller, turning it into a handheld gaming device. With all the buttons and functions of a traditional Xbox controller, users get an on-the-go console experience once they turn it on and are linked through Bluetooth.
On the other hand, the' Cloud' resembles an actual controller with a clamp attachment that mounts the mobile device during gaming. Players can also use it for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as PCs, through a wired USB-A connection.
The Atom and Cloud controllers from Turtle Beach are currently up for pre-order for $99.99 each.
