Observing the Tuoli13 Chair from the front, with its mustard-yellow upholstery, is certainly a bold treat for the eyes; however, the rear has something to offer as well. The swiveling ability of the seat ensures that this piece of furniture will not always sit stationary against a wall, enabling you to appreciate its unique sculptural quality whenever it's spun.

Juho Pykäläinen's design was inspired by "the Nordic nature and way of life," and more specifically by the look of snow-covered spruce trees that bend beneath the weight of the wintery weather. With that image in mind, you can discern three layers of white curling boughs that break up the back of the Tuoli13 Chair into three gently curving panels.
