The Tii.me counter fills users in on something they more than likely underestimated -- the amount of time they've spent in front of the TV. Watching television is one of America's favorite pastimes and viewership has only increased since streaming has become easier on the Internet.

The Tii.me counter initially starts off pretty harmless. You put in the amount of seasons you've watched of a particular show and the counter figures out how much time that is exactly. Two seasons of House of Cards may not have costed you much time in your life, but when you pair that with all the seasons of Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and the Simpsons, the numbers start to add up.

The site is very simple, but it points out that TV has become a huge time sink for people.
