The Palm Phone Will Be Getting an Unlocked Version for US Consumers

After a standalone release on Verizon, the Palm phone will be launching an unlocked edition of the phone, which will work with US carriers. The unlocked Palm phone will have a price point of $349 USD, which is the same price as the previous Verizon version. The unlocked version will be sold through the Palm website exclusively, and it can only be purchased in the United States. The device can be used with major US cellphone carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon as well as GSM. However, the device will not work on CDMA networks.

The Palm Phone is a 3.3-inch device, it operates similarly to conventional phones by using a SIM card to connect to its respective carrier. The Palm is a fully functioning phone, with calling and SMS features.
