The Huawei Pocket S smartphone has been unveiled as an accessible mobile solution for consumers looking to enjoy the benefits of a folding smartphone without the associated price.
Arriving in China, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset and has a 6.9-inch OLED display that can be easily folded for storage anywhere. The dual-lens camera system is paired with an additional 1.04-inch OLED display beneath it to allow for easy selfies and even for monitoring incoming notifications.
The Huawei Pocket S smartphone has a 4,000mAh battery pack with support for 40W fast charging and has been durability tested to ensure it can withstand daily use. The smartphone will come in five color options and will be priced starting at CNY5,988 (~$820).
