Greenery-Covered High-Rise Buildings

The Marina Tower is Set to Be Greece's Tallest Skyscraper

The Marina Tower, designed by UK-based company Foster + Partners, is Greece's tallest skyscraper. The record-breaking building will be the centerpiece of the Agios Kosmas Marina development. The site is the former location of Athens' former international airport.

Boasting 200-meters in height, the Marina Tower will also be covered in greenery. This will set yet another national record, making it the first green high-rise building in Greece. The Marina will contain 200 apartments spread over 45 floors. The units will all be dual-aspect to ensure dwellers have unobstructed views of the coastline and natural light and ventilation. The building's external facade will be characterized by its slim silhouette, in addition to its plant-covered feature.
