Supertall Miami Skyscrapers

Foster + Partners Unveils its 1201 Brickell Bay Drive Skyscraper

Architecture studio Foster + Partners has introduced a look at the 1201 Brickell Bay Drive, which is a tall skyscraper located in Miami. The studio has relocated the headquarters of hedge fund Citadel to this location and it is comprised of symmetrical skyscraper structures in the Brickell neighborhood. It is developed by Gattuso Development Partners and it will include offices, retail spaces, and hotels.

The head of studio at Foster + Partners, Nigel Dancey shares, "The tower's tapered form unifies its various functions, enhances structural efficiency, and creates an elegant marker on the Miami skyline. An environmentally responsive facade draws on Florida's vernacular architecture, with a louvred shading system to create a comfortable internal environment, while maximising views out from this amazing location."
