Apple Unveiled 'The Holiday' Commercial in Time for the Holidays

Apple recently launched the inspiring new commercial 'The Suprise' that tells the story of a family dealing with the loss of their grandmother during the holidays. Craftfully incorporated throughout the 3-minute commercial is the iPad and the Apple Pencil's role throughout the trip to keep the two young girls entertained.

Viewers next see the iPad's role in the commercial on Christmas day. The girls give their grandfather "the surprise" -- a new iPad and Apple Pencil that plays an animated video that tells the story of the family's life. It begins by showing the girl's grandparents falling in love and continues with their parents falling in love and having them. The video ends with a video of their grandmother with the caption "Nana might not be here, but we are all still together."

Apple's holiday ad shows how consumers can "make someone's holiday" -- the brand's tagline for Christmas 2019.
