The Grid Umbrella Stand is a storage object designed to organise umbrellas and walking accessories while creating a visually structural element in an entryway or foyer. The stand consists of a welded metal grid framework that allows umbrellas to be placed upright within individual cells, preventing them from leaning, tangling, or dripping into adjacent floor space. Each cell accepts one or more umbrellas, and the open grid permits air circulation to help damp items dry. A shallow, removable drip tray at the base collects moisture without requiring the stand to be lifted for cleaning.
The metal grid’s geometry produces a clear organisational logic while reading as a sculptural object in interior settings. Finished in powder-coat tones that resist corrosion, the stand emphasises durability and everyday function over decorative embellishment.
