The City Rises is a new building located in Australia and created by Urban Office Architecture firm. Requests for the design included it being energy efficient, and having it fit well in Parramatta Square. Both of these were achieved in the building process.
One of the most stunning features of this building is its twisting and fused design. At the bottom, it starts as one joined structure, but as it goes up it slowly splits into two towers with a spiralling effect. The entire outside is made up of a glass facade, allowing people inside to take in stunning views of the area. According to DesignBoom, "as the structure rises, offices have a close relationship to public areas, allowing for a healthy and enjoyable working environment."
