Tea is a globally adored beverage, traditionally packaged differently from one continent to the next. This beautiful Teatox branding scheme was designed with the goal of integrating artistic elements from the East as well as the West, resulting in striking bags of loose leaf that would appeal to tea lovers everywhere.
Evelyn Tran penned the name of the product in thick inky strokes, stylistically similar to the writing of Chinese and Japanese characters. The illustrations were inspired by the work of the surrealist-Mannerist painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo, in this case featuring flowers over the portraits of young women, making up their hair and makeup. Teatox packaging thus takes on a bold and yet elegantly feminine appearance that's as likely to be selected by a woman in North America as it would be by a girl in Asia.
